The Dev Diary Season Points Boomstick Gaming

Welcome back to the dev diary. This season brings one of the biggest points reworks we've shipped, and we wanted to walk through the thinking behind it before you jump in. The short version: rewards now scale more smoothly, so consistent play pays off just as much as a single big night.

The headline change is the Boomstick tuning pass. It was over-rewarding aggressive pushes and quietly punishing patient teams, so we rebalanced the curve. Early testing shows tighter matches and far fewer runaway games, which is exactly what we were chasing.

We also cleaned up the season points display so you can actually see where your score comes from. Every match now breaks down objectives, assists, and clutch moments, making it obvious what to focus on next.
